Today we got our hike on. We put on our walking shoes, crossed the street and hiked about 2 miles through the hills/mountains/streams/cows, picked up some milk in downtown and walked back to our apartment. It got our blood flowing but we can definitely feel improvements from when we first got here. Our legs are stronger and our endurance is better. But, it's still a good workout. Temperatures were in the low to mid 60s and mostly overcast.
There were wild animals everywhere, including this beaver.
It figures that Sue would do more chopping wood than you. good job Sue. I am sure that the hiking would get you in shape there after a few years. maybe you should book and longer trip and not be so rushed next time !!
