Yesterday we rode from Chefchaouen to Azrou where we stayed at the Le Palais des Cerisiers hotel. Today we had a full day of riding from Azrou to the Widiane Resort which is gorgeous.
The ride today was a nice mix of twisties coming into the mountains and long straights. A fair amount of traffic and lots and lots of school kids. The school kids seem to be going to or coming out of school at all hours of the day and walk along the roads. Sometimes the boys strut across the road in front of us, some give us the finger and some wave and smile. It takes a lot of concentration going through a school zone with lots of kids in the road along with scooters, trucks and cars.
Almost every town has police (gendarme) checks going into and out of town. Lots of vehicles get stopped but we have never been stopped.
We had a big lunch and beautiful dinner today.
