Merrakech, Morocco - November 16, 2025

Today was our final day riding the motorcycles.  We first rode to Reda's compound where we turned in the bikes and had a nice pizza lunch at his house.  We met his wife Malika and daughter.  It's a really nice home with a pool.  His wife is a commercial airline pilot for the Moroccan airlines and has over 18,000 flight hours.  She was the 8th female to become a commercial pilot in Morocco.

We said goodbye to the 2 assistants Abdulla and Abdella and gave them a nice tip.  We then loaded all of our luggage in a large van and were driven to the hotel in Marrakech where we first stayed.

Everything went well.  The ride today was nice, the weather great.  The traffic coming into Marrakech was a bit of a challenge but being Sunday helped.  Today we stopped at The Biological and Ecological Site of Ouzoud and saw some beautiful waterfalls.  We also had a nice nous-nous which is a strong mix of coffee and milk.  We have been drinking them the entire trip and really like them.

Tonight we have the tour farewell dinner at a fancy restaurant in Merrakech.  A couple of people fly out tomorrow morning at 6 am so they are going to have a short night.

We will stay here tonight, move to another hotel for 2 nights and then fly home to Gainesville Wednesday, November 19, 2025.

  1. Dear Clarks, I bet you are sad to see that trip is winding down, but glad to see the shower and bath for Terry. I am so relived to see a drop down curtain in bathroom. Sue has been spared the unsettling view of your antics.... have a great last few days. the waterfalls are very nice. cool area. great trip you too.
