 Happy Birthday to our son, Sam in Brooklyn! 

Today we visited the Natural Bridge and Emerald Lake.  Both are within 20 miles of where we are staying.  The day was overcast with early light rain so the vistas don't have the crisp details of a sunny day.  But the clouds add some variation and spookiness.

All of the areas we visited today are within the Yoho National Park.  Before we took off on the bikes today, we visited the Yoho Visitor Center which is almost right across the street from The Pig, where we're staying.  The staff indicated that the road to Takakkaw Falls is currently closed but they think it should be open tomorrow morning.  That was an area we all wanted to check out, so I'm sure we will see if we can make it there in the morning.

Tomorrow we are off to Jasper, Alberta within the Jasper National Park.
