Riding today from Big Timber to Red Lodge was another great ride. The weather was good and the scenery was fantastic. Only about 15 miles out of Big Timber we stopped at a place called Greycliff Mill. It was much larger than we anticipated and included a a restaurant, playground, cheese cave, several gift shops right next to impressive cliffs. The guy who started the place specializes in using restored historic lumber and each of the buildings included his work. Some of the timber in the frames must have been positioned by a large crane due to their weight.
Sooz took some amazing shots from the back of the bike and captured the open, rolling and bright green landscape. I have posted a lot of her shots below.
Tomorrow we ride the Beartooth Highway on our way to 2 nights in Yellowstone National Park.
