June 12, 2022 - Seward, AK - 180 miles

When we left Homer this morning it was very foggy with temps in the middle 50s. I guess we are acclimating to the cooler temperatures because we did not use any electric heated gear but we did crank up the heated grips for me and the rear seat for Sooz.

We are seeing mostly Alaskan license plates with very few out of state vehicles. There are a lot of RVs and travel trailers, boats, kayaks and ATVs being hauled. We are also seeing a lot of families with young kids which is fun.

On the way north we stopped in at The Loon, an art shop in Cooper Landing owned by Dominic, a friend of Phil Freeman. It was a nice shop with a wide variety of art located in a beautiful location on a lake. We stopped for lunch later at a brewery/restaurant recommended by Dominic and it was good food with a bunch of families and  youngsters playing and rolling around in the dirt like good kids will do.

We are staying the next 2 nights at The Exit Glacier Lodge outside of Seward and very close to Exit Glacier. I think we will visit Exit Glacier tomorrow and check out Seward.
